Dough Bowl Candle First Burn:

Position the dough bowl on a level and smooth safe surface in an open area. Do not burn wooden dough bowl candles on furniture.

Simultaneously light all the wicks. Do not turn upside down to light. 

The first burn is important*** allow the candle to burn for 3-4 hours or until the wax has melted to the outer edges. Candles develop a memory of their burning patterns. If you don't allow them to burn long enough during the first use, they may continue to burn downward in that manner. 

Never leave candle unattended.
